Not really sure why the title has to have DOS specified.. It seems that most essential adventure games was created in DOS era, except Blade Runner, from 1997.

When this game came out there was a long drought of new or good N64 games. My friend and I would always go to the video store to see if anything new had come out to rent. One day Goldeneye was there, a movie tie in game... Ughhh... But we took a chance and rented it anyway. Took it home, played it for about three hours then took it back to the video store and returned it. We immediately went to Toys'R'us and I bought my own copy. Played this for like a year straight. Everyone else I knew wanted to buy it too but they could never find a copy it was always sold out. Amazing game, Thank you to everyone who was involved in making it.

I finally took the time to beat this today (I played the mage). It's not as hard as first impressions might give one, but there were times I felt my character wasn't getting any stronger. I found myself always comparing the game to Dead Cells. Eventually, I made the decision to replay the game from the very beginning if I died, and honestly, just playing a couple of stages at a time was my favorite part of the game. The world map kind of threw me and I just had to forget about it as Dead Cells didn't have one.

This looks beautiful! I love puzzle platformers and love a challenge so a checkpoint death loop! Yes! Now that’s what I’m talking about 😂 and no map! The bosses are easy but do you get killed just as easy? I’m off to my nearest checkpoint, wish me luck!

Ok I’m so embarrassed that I’m going to off myself. Can we trade identities so I can get games given to me? Those big boxes are pure p0rn 🤤 I’ve never played the game lol Amazing goodies inside both though, well worth it!! I always love concept art, but that piano sheet really pushed the boat out!

I’m late again 😢looks absolutely awesome. It looks a bit too forgiving with the grenades above and below him, but not to say that the game will get much harder. I wrote that part before I saw the boss 😅 I love that they made a ROM only if you don’t want to spend more money.

I can’t believe I’m so late to my most favourite videos from you 😢 Not surprised Half-Life was cancelled lol Such a shame about Battle Mania, the characters and gameplay would’ve been nuts, the special level “Above the rock cave” would’ve been groundbreaking 😂 I can’t believe there’s a Rockstar game here! Definitely should’ve been published. Along with Sonia, Take the bullet and flintstones. Gun Valkyrie looks 🔥 but that control scheme is MENTAL so yes throw it in the 🔥. That weird baby that gets stabbed in the stomach and just keeps on smiling is just icing on the cake 😆 These are incredible charming gfx and character designs, seriously. Thanks for highlighting some cool stuff for the BBC Micro. It's a total obscurity to me outside of hearing British UA-camrs (and the old VGJunk blog) talk about it. Lost Vikings style puzzle-platformers are definitely something that there should be way more of. Awesome to be able to check it out in-browser!

A great game I've played many times since watching Lee's video. As I'm fairly sure I've mentioned before I always like this character swap/transformation mechanic. For me personally my favourite bbc game will always be thrust.

Yeah I remember messing about on one of these at school back in the day, Unfortunately I didn't know anybody who owned one as All my friends were from Paul working class backgrounds So we were all playing on the Speccy or c64, I can recall playing Chucky egg and Some kind of Treasure Island Game , I've never played this game but looks and sounds very interesting, I think I would have had a great time playing it as a kid and probably even now, Fantastic video mate

Ah man, I remember playing Podd on the BBC back in school 😂. Great video dude, I had no idea the BBC had such a library. The line art graphics here looks great in Imogen - quite modern looking

I absolutely adored Imogen back in the day, and because if the puzzle elements out teachers were always quite happy to see us play it as they felt it educational. Still love the game and and BBC Micro, I'm lucky to own a BBC Master these days which I never dreamt I'd ever own back in the day. Brilliant video this Pete, way better than my lousy effort I did some time back. Really enjoyed watching this and great to hear you talk up the underrated computer in detail. I salute you sir👌

Quark looks interesting and creative, Agartha kinda gave me d2 vibes, I definitely would've played both of those, also I heard that Sega would've put yakuza on the Dreamcast if it lasted longer, (wonder how that would've gone 🤔) it has some games that are also on ps2 so who knows.

From what I remember for Capcom Fighting All Stars was it fucking bombed so hard in location tests in Japan and that was the primary motivating factor towards it's cancellation. The biggest complaints was the gameplay felt stiff and clunky, again, from what I can remember from translations on SRK and MMCafe forums. I remember seeing gameplay videos on Gamespot's site back in 2003 and was pretty hype for it and was surprised it was cancelled.

I honestly wish Larry can upload the original animation of the sludge-o-matic online for people to see what it was like before it got rejected, like how they restored the close-ups in MI2 for it's 30th anniversary.
